2012 Amigurumi Crochet Me Calendar

Here’s an update on the 2012 Amigurumi Crochet Me Calendar!

Crocheted Amigurumi

We have sorted through the abundance of amigurumi submissions you sent us.

With great difficulty, but plenty of smiles, we have narrowed the submissions to just over 30. You’ll find these amigurumi in the gallery. (We loaded them on Oct 27—sorry to those of you who had trouble finding them!)

Now begins the difficult task of narrowing our selection down to 13. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know which amigurumi you can look forward to seeing in the 2012 Amigurumi Crochet Me calendar.

Meanwhile, head on over to the Calendar 2012 gallery and let us know what you think about these amigurumi.

Best wishes,

  1. Hi Toni,

About 10 minutes ago, I left you a comment on your blog from early October about color palettes – and the blog DISAPPEARED! Anyway, I hope you got it and found it helpful.

BTW, I like all of the amigurumis pictured! :)

  2. Ecoppell, don’t worry. The blog appears to be fine. And thank you for all of the information you added.

Irishnavylady, We requested that those people whose amigurumies appear in the gallery to send the physical sample too us.

  3. Hi Toni,
While Browsing the 30 submissions you have narrowed down for the Calendar 2012 contest , I noticed a submission I believe to be a free pattern – I wrote and put on this site as a free crochet pattern, you can look at it here and decide what you think, the name of the submission is “Autumn Gourds” the name of my pattern is Fall Squash and Gourds.

I really feel this should be disqualified, unless this person can prove this is not the same pattern.

    Thank you

  4. @chiwaluv and @yayyarn, I am the creator of the autumn gourd patterns you’re referring to. I created these patterns about 4 years ago and have been selling them since. You can check my Etsy sales to see this.

  5. I love making ‘Ami’s’ and all the final selections. As a maker of these items, I would like to see the calendar with a variety of Ami, toys for both boys and girls (my grandkids love them). And others that can sit with me around the house to give me a chuckle.
