Falling4Fall Giveaway

Aug 17, 2012

There is an exciting nip in the air. You know the one I mean. Just a bit of a chill that whips past you and reminds you that fall is just around the corner.

Fall is my favorite season. It's the time for sweaters, hats, scarves, and jackets. My fall wardrobe is probably twice as large as my summer wardrobe, and it is still expanding. I have a queue of hats, scarves, and sweaters that I can't wait to wear.

Once again, crochet is in fashion and on the runways. See, they are learning what we knew all along. Some of the other fall trends I am seeing include bright colors, bold patterns, and texture-a perfect fit for crochet.

In honor of the upcoming fall season, we thought it would be fun to have a fall fashion giveaway on Pinterest. Here's how it works:

1) Pin something from CrochetMe.com that reminds you of Fall, 2) Tag it with "#Falling4Fall Crochet" so we can add it to our board and select our winners, 3) We'll pick one random pinner each Friday through November 2, and award them with a classic issue of Interweave Crochet Magazine.

Each Friday we will comment on the winning pin and post a link to that pin on this blog. So keep checking back. You can find all of the rules here. Then check out our Falling4Fall board on Pinterest.

I can't wait to see your fall favorites!

Best wishes,

No "nip in the air" down here in Texas...a front is supposed to go through this weekend so the highs during the day will only be in the low 90s (a break from the 100s we'd been having) and it MIGHT get as "cold" as 73 overnight! LOL!

That being said, I love the hat with the butterfly!

Char55, I visited Texas in January. It was t-shirt weather. I don't know how you guys put up with the heat, but it is a beautiful state.

Toni,

We moved to Texas from Vermont 31 years ago....I still haven't gotten used to the heat! I stay indoors most of the summer!
