Have you heard about the 2013 Beans for Brains Scholarship
program from Jimmy Beans Wool? Graduating seniors undergraduate, graduate, and
professional school students in any course of study are encouraged to apply.
And we all know finding financing to go to college can be challenging, and
things continue to get more expensive.
Jimmy Beans Wool will be awarding five scholarships of
$3,200 each to students within the United States. To apply, you will need to
submit an application as well as photographs of a crochet project, knit, or sewn
garment you personally made. All applications must be emailed by March 31st.
You can visit the Jimmy Beans Wool webpage to find out more
information about this great opportunity. Please forward this information to
anyone you know who loves crocheting, knitting, or sewing and would be
interested in furthering their education.
P.S. If you could go back to school, would you study
something fiber related or continue to crochet as a hobby?
