This was the first place that told me the answer.

Companies will often have a basic A line dress, for example, and fabricate it from thin cotton for summer use, and a thicker wool for the winter. However, there are certain garments that are produced just for winter wear. Hats, gloves, earmuffs and scarves are cold weather staples, as is thermal underwear and ski clothing. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for the varied & interesting patterns you always provide. The sock patterns are really cool-it's too bad so many folks have a hard time seeing past what is SUGGESTED in the pattern. The beauty of making your own things is that you can make them any color you like! I don't recall making many patterns using the colors suggested--you can even substitute another make of yarn the same weight if you cannot get the exact yarn specified. Let your imagination shine!! Have fun with the patterns!! I know we all don't like the same things, but I don't think it's necessary to be mean about it. Hope everyone has fun with whatever project you try!! Peace, love & blessings!!

I was beginning to think this magazine was becoming a carbon copy of the other crochet magazines on the market. I look forward to my issue coming in the mail. I might even try a pair of those colorful socks!
