My mom. She rocks. And she listens to us, dear readers. Please go visit her new blog. She set it up in under two hours (including posting twice!) with no help from me, and she promises not to write about me in every post. Leave her friendly comments. Subscribe to her RSS feed. Show her why this blogging thing is all that and a bag of chips*. Oh, yes. My work here is done**.

** Figuratively. I'm swimming upstream in work work. In a good way. But if you have a motor boat within reach...

Oh, no! She made the sweater, not me. Here's how it works in my family:

Mom: Takes her time searching out the best project. Buys enough yarn. Makes the project. Enjoys the FO and showing it off.

Me: Spends lots of time looking at all the pretty projects. Makes many mental notes. Starts any handful of them, leaves them around the house, loves them all. Occasionally finishes one, during an inappropriate season, loves it. Sometimes rushes to complete a gift. Fears searching around the house to determine exactly how many UFOs are hiding.
