Finished Ripple Blanket: The Fanfare

Jan 21, 2008

Started: 27th February 2007

Finished: 16th January 2008

All odd balls from my stash (or, yeah, added to my stash in the last year).

5mm hook.

It's slightly wider than a double bed, and long enough to cover me comfortably from neck to toes.

Fin.

Light.

Wow, absolutely brilliant! I wish my oddballs would work together as well.

Thanks!

Julia — Try it out! I didn't think mine would be at all... harmonious. And there were a few stretches in there when I thought I'd have to rip it out for fear of inducing shrieks of horror upon glancing at it. But in the end, it all came together pretty well. :)

Hi Kim! I love this blanket and am desperately trying to figure out how to make it. I am totally new to crocheting, any pictoral help would be greatly appreciated. I'm just not getting it...

Frustrated,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

I don't have any tutorial shots for how to make this, but there are many ripple patterns available online. I can't remember where I found this one, but I believe it's very close to the "Soft Waves" pattern from the book 200 Ripple Stitches. Good luck!

Kim
