I love it a lot, too. The colorwork (stranded? mosaic?) around the edges really makes the blanket too.

Stunning use of color! At first I was thinking, 'hey I know that artist's name but I was thinking of Joana Vasconcelos who does a variety of different artwork including crochet work.
