Here is what Simmie wrote: In response to your newsletter- I have a different way to wear a crocheted shawl. Any shawl, any size rectangle can be worn asymmetrical with interesting results. You fold the shawl in half on the length, leave 9-11 inches open depending on your size for neck opening,, sew or crochet together a seam of 10-12 inches and you have room for arms, no pins, no slipping off the shoulder or falling down!! I am very happy to have discovered this method. Am sending 4 pics to demonstrate.
