I want to thank you.
It's easy to encourage someone else to take a little time and crochet a project
as a gift for themselves, but I can attest that it's a little more difficult to
actually spoil yourself. Even as I stitch my brain is thinking about all of the
people to whom I could gift this pair of Orchard Mitts.
Luckily these mitts
make quick gifts, so I can finish my pair up this weekend and whip up a couple
more pairs next week. In an hour of crocheting this evening, I have completed
half of the first mitt. The color-change in this particular yarn is kind of
short for crochet, mottling the colors. Also, because I have very small
hands and I chose a worsted weight yarn rather than the dk weight called for in the pattern, I went
down 1 hook size. The fabric is thicker; perfect for keeping my hands warm.
But
I can't spoil myself without spoiling you as well. I would love to hear
how you spoil yourself. Leave a comment sharing your story of luxury on
my Spoil Yourself: Little Luxuries for You blog and you'll be entered to win a pair of Grayson E. leather bag handles.
Best wishes,
