I stopped into, digitally that is, the Jimmy Beans Wool
website for a quick stroll through
the crochet products section. A couple of hours later I am still compiling my wish list and debating whether I need the
della Q Lilly Crochet Roll in pink or brown.
I am certain I need one or the other because several hooks
have made their way onto my wish list. My crochet hook search results have
turned up Lantern Moon hooks in Rosewood and Ebony, elegantly carved Birch
Victorian hooks from Brittany, Lana Grossa hooks, and the new Addi Swing hooks.
The hooks can be a bit tricky to find but just go to needles and type "crochet"
in the keywords section. The selection is worth the extra step.

After drooling over crochet hooks, I spend some time
learning how to create Chain Stitch Embroidery. I have worked this stitch with
a crochet hook. Jeanne teaches you how to work the Chain Stitch Embroidery
stitch with a needle.
Tha t reminds me, I need a Chibi. You know, the darning
needle set that comes in its own needle shaped case. I'm always losing my
needle, and I love the Chibi case.
Browsing the Jimmy Beans Wool website is a pleasant way to
spend a couple of hours I admit. Stop in next time you are in the area, which
is anywhere you computer is (don't you love the digital age; you can visit so many store in such little time). You won't regret
it.
Best wishes,

P.S. Oooh, did I mention the buttons!? I have a button
collection, and I think I will be adding to it soon.
