I am only several rows in and anxious for my first chance to
wear my own version of the crochet lace Petal Pullover. If you want to join the
crochet-along there's still time. And before you begin, let me keep you from
repeating my first mistake.
Since the bottom portion of this lace top is worked in the
round, I attempted to work the first few rounds without turning. We all know
rule number two, always swatch, but I forgot rule number one. Always read the instructions
all the way through before beginning—and in my case, don't start a new project
after 11 p.m. Once I started turning at the end of each round, the rounds
worked up amazingly quickly. I love this pattern and already have several hours of crochet time set
aside for this weekend.
