The Interweave Crochet Winter 2011 issue preview post went up last Friday, and we have loved hearing your responses-which projects are your favorite, photography ideas, and more. I am fascinated by the myriad of ways the internet now provides for us to talk about and share a single issue.

Recently I have come across several blogs by designers and yarn companies. It is always fun to see their perspective on a garment.

I laughed with Lorna's Laces as they shared a wonderful story about the joy of crocheting after Christmas.

My mother says that December 26th has always been her favorite day of the year. I can understand that. She's a worrier by nature and making sure six kids were happy with their Christmas experience is no small feat so she was glad when it was behind her for another year.

I loved reading Shelby Allaho's blog. She designed the Tendril Wrap and tells the delightful tale of this wraps journey from idea, to submission, to publication.

 I was inspired by their call for chunky lace designs, and began swatching some patterns that were originally meant for thread crochet.  Once I got a feel for what I liked, I combined the elements of a few swatches and enlarged them to work with chunky yarn. This wrap is seamless and made in one piece.  My original design submission was not! . . . more
