Test your creative skills in our COLORPLAY Reader Challenge to win a rainbow of yarn valued at $250! This spring, Tahki Yarns challenges you to create a multi-colored scarf using at least 4 colors of Cotton Classic or Cotton Classic Lite. Readers cast their votes to choose the most creative knit scarf and the most creative crochet scarf! 
Starting February 15, please post photos of your completed project on Knitting Daily. Knit projects should be posted in the COLORPLAY Knit photo gallery, and Crochet projects in the COLORPLAY Crochet photo gallery. Chain Reaction Afghan Project Spacer 10x10 pixels  Welcome to the Chain Reaction Afghan Project, a yearlong celebration of collaboration! We'll be creating an afghan made up of squares created by your favorite crochet designers, combined with squares designed by you! We'll publish 10 patterns by designers, five each in the Interweave Crochet Summer 2010 and Fall 2010 issues. After you work these squares, you can post pictures of them in the Gallery. The top ten Readers' Choice squares will be published with their patterns in the Interweave Crochet Winter 2010 and Spring 2011 issues. The whole afghan will be assembled and shown in the Summer 2011 issue, before the afghan is auctioned for charity. Join in the conversation in the Forum with your own stories of afghans you have made alone or with a group to give away to someone in need or as a celebration of a happy event.

Here's what we want you to do to help make everyone's day happier in 2012: Crochet your cutest, most creative Amigurumi and submit it for consideration for our 2012 calendar. The artists who design the thirteen selected Amigurumi will be published in the calendar.
