  1. I made a pair with multocolors and call them my clown socks.

Am now making second pair in many shades of pink.

Great fun for a cold winter in Edmonton.

  2. These socks are in the Winter 2011 edition. I am very excited to get started. Now, I don’t know if I happened to get a bad copy or what…but the very first direction starts with the cuff….ok.  But then it goes on to say, “ch 3, (counts as fdc), fdc 27, etc.     What am I fdc-ing to?

  3. Now that I read the previous post again, I think I can answer that one.  The first row is a foundation double crochet, which isn’t worked into anything… it forms its own foundation chain and dc row.  Its the second row that I’m confused with.

  4. I also seem to be having problems with the new keyboard, so please excuse the typos!  Is there no join at the end of row 1?  Any turn at the begining of row 2?  There just seems to be something missing.  At the end of row 2, I cant joint to the begining chain 3, because im right on top of it!  Im going to attempt another try and see if i can figgure this out.  Its different than other cuffs Ive done.
