Meadow Shawl

This crochet shawl was born from Kathy Merrick’s obsession with Nazli Gelin Garden Thread, with its  sheen and abundance of fabulous colors. The simple crochet motifs are joined to create a wonderful U-shaped wrap that hugs your shoulders.

Finished Size: 42″ wide; 28″ long from back neck to lower back.

Yarn: Nazli Gelin Garden size 10 (100% mercerized cotton; 306 yd [280 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #01 white (A), #35 brown (B), #25 pale pink (C), 2 balls each; #08 almond (D), #05 bright pink (E), #07 burgundy (F), #16 deep olive (G), #04 yellow (H), 1 ball each. Thread distributed by Universal Yarns.

Hook Size: C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: Motif = 2¼” diameter.
