At once sassy and demure, this crochet cardigan has a close fit and a winsome crochet embroidery trim.  Easy crochet stitches make this a great project for a beginning crocheter.


Finished Size: 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42)” bust circumference. Garment shown measures 32″, modeled with no ease.

Yarn: The Fibre Company Canopy Worsted (50% baby alpaca, 30% merino, 20% viscose bamboo; 100 yd [91 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): sarsparilla, 10 (11, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins; acai, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Kelbourne Woolens.

Hook Sizes H/8 (5 mm) and I/9 (5.5 mm; for ch st embroidery). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 18 rows = 4″ in patt after blocking.
