Thistledown Tunic

This mosaic crochet patterned crochet tunic uses just one color for each row to create a complex-looking pattern using spike stitches.

Finished Size: 24½ (27½, 30, 32½, 35½)” chest circumference, to fit girl’s size 2 (4, 6, 8, 10). Garment shown measures 32½”, modeled with 5½” ease.

Yarn: O-Wool Legacy DK (100% organic merino; 130 yd [119 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #4199 rutabaga (MC), 5 (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins; #9104 overcast (CC), 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins. Yarn distributed by Tunney Wool Company.

Hook Sizes H/8 (5 mm), I/9 (5.5 mm), and J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: St markers (m); yarn needle.

Gauge: 12 sts and 15 rows = 4″ in patt st with smallest hook, blocked.
