Dear Chat:
Recently, I just started crocheting scarves, using Lionbrand Fun Fur yarns and Red Heart worst weight yarns. What I did was use the two of them together. What I found out is that the yarns work great together. Recently, I did ponchos with the Red Heart yarn and bordered it with the Lionbrand Fun Fur. Since I'm short in height, I try not to make my projects too long or too short. Has anyone have any patterns using either Lionbrand yarn and or Red Heart? Please let me know what the results were, and give me some hints on using other yarns to make my projects stand out even more.

I love, love, LOVE fun fur!! It works SO well mixed with homespun, or regular sport yarn. I use it mostly with homsepun. I find all the colors like that just really pop.
I live to crochet!

Dear theonlynikki:
I love working with boa yarn too. I use Bernat boa yarn to bring patterns, especially ponchos to life. The poncho that I just finished is with Red Heart Light & Lofty Zebra print and Bernat Yarn. I love these color together and that fact that the boa yarn match so perfect with the Light and Lofty is good too. The next poncho that I going to do is a multi color for the fall. I still have lot more yarn to use, but whatever projects I do I'm either going to use fun fur yarns or boa yarns.
Dear Ladies,
I have been making chemo caps using the eyelash yarn and one strand of Homespun. The Homespun keeps their heads warm and the eyelash yarn makes it look like short brown or black hair. The ladies really seem to enjoy getting these.
What pattern do you use to make chemo caps?
Here is the one that I use. The cap makes up very soft. Patients have said they like it in crazy colors so it looks like a cap, and others have said they like it in actual hair colors so when they look in the mirror they feel like it is really their hair. So I just make them in all colors. Give me a yell if you have any other questions.
