I've made this afghan almost a dozen times but I can't find the pattern. I remember the first line - can anyone finish it and tell me the name? I have a new granddaughter-in-law and want to make it for her Christmas present.

Row 1: 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook, *ch 3, sc in 2nd ch, skip 3 ch, 3 dc in next 3 sts. Repeat from *

I just can't figure out the 2nd and possibly 3rd row.  HELP!!!!

Let me correct that. I tried to do it and it didn't come out the way I intended.

This is the first row.

Row 1: DC in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 2 chs,  *ch 3, sc in next ch, skip 3 ch, 3dc in next 3 chs. Repeat from *

I hope that clarifies rather than complicates. ;-)
