I purchased the Big Collar Cardigan pattern from Spring 2004 issue, but can't find Goddess Yarns online.  Does anyone know of an online vendor who carries this yarn?  Or have a good suggestion for a suitable substitute yarn?

Thanks,

Sherrie

Hi. I just googled Goddess Yarns and on the first page, a link to www.knittersreview.com comes up and it describes the yarn (spun in Peru) and where to purchase it. Hope this helps.

Yes, I'd followed those links.  None of the URLs lead to a vendor, and the URL for the company itself no longer works.  Maybe it's just not available any longer.

Thanks, though!

Hi Sherrie, how r u?  I saw your post regarding the big collar sweater pattern.  I realize this is an old post, but was hoping I could still reach you.  I was wondering if you found suitable yarn to make it and how it turned out?  Thanks in advance for your reply...Valarie/ scottishlass73@yahoo.com

Hi!  I never did find that yarn, but bought Brown Sheep Serendipity Tweed instead (http://www.brownsheep.com/). I haven't actually gotten around to making the cardigan...but on Ravelry I found a woman who had made a couple with different yarns http://www.ravelry.com/projects/aliencpa/big-collar-cardigan  She has pictures.  Sherrie Smile
