I was just wondering if anyone could share a website where they get 2 inch diameter plastic rings for projects? I want to make the angel dishcloth I keep coming across on various sites, and it calls for a plastic ring of 2 inch diameter to make the "head". Obviously it needs to fairly sturdy as people like to wash their dishcloths in the washing machine.
All I can find is 1 and 5/8ths of an inch diameter :/
Try www.simplicity.com or ask your local yarn shop or fabric shop to special order. Did you try button shops or craft catalogs like mary maxim, herrschnerrs, lionbrand, caron? Good luck.
Thanks so much!!!
I actually live in a town without ANY yarn or craft shops. My crafty soul withers a little bit each time I try to find relatively obscure items for various projects at the local walmart. :)
Just edited because it did a double post :)
Thanks again! Just have to wait for them to arrive in the mail, which is half the battle :)
Where did you find them? I have looked all over. I actually was looking for 3 inch, but will settle for 2. Thanks!
Boye and Wrights both sell plastic rings. I found them on Simplicity.com under "knitting and crochet."
