If anyone can help me I would be very grateful for the information. I work for a major craft retailer in the Oklahoma City area. I am in the Creative Department at the headquarters. We are in need of someone who is skilled in crochet to assist us with projects from time to time. As crochet takes up a great deal of time, these projects limit our crafters. It would be wonderful to find someone close by but we are open to other options as well. I have already emailed the Knitters Guild as I could not find a Crochet Guild for Oklahoma City. I know of no crochet guilds in our state of Arizona. I think you might do better accepting applications here on Crochet Me from crocheters like myself who have 30+ years of crocheting. I have made the simple and difficult afghans, 4 cardigans for my husband, 3 sweaters for myself, heavy socks for winter, mittens and gloves, hats and berets, doilies, booties and baby sweaters, flowers stiffened with starch, neck scarves, shawls and wraps. I taught myself, my daughter, and my granddaughter how to crochet. I am 75 years old and I have been crocheting since I was 19. And I will continue crocheting and knitting, sewing and quilting until.................?
Think about what you could accomplish with some experienced crocheters. The possibilities are endless!!
