how many post should i have and i carnt seem to get this to crochet up tha same as the pic

hi i,m trying to do this square how many posts   should i have15 or 16  and i carn,t seem to get this to crochet up the same as the pic any tips or can anybody break it down to make it  a bit easy for me thanks

Squares: Rnd 1: ch 5, join, ch 3, work 15 dc around ring, join.


Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in same st, * ch 1 , sc in next st * rep around, ch 1 join in beg sc.

Rnd 3: ch 5, dc in same st, ch 2, dc in same st, ch 2, sk next sc
, dc in next sc, ch 2 * sk next sc, (dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc) in next sc, ch 2 sk next sc, dc in next sc, ch 2* rep around, join.

Rnd 4: ch 1, sc in same st, * 2 sc in ch sp, 3 sc in corner dc, 2 sc in ch sp, sc in dc, 2 sc in ch sp, sc in dc, 2 sc in ch 5 sp, sc in dc * rep around, fasten off.
Join squares ڤڤڤڤڤڤڤڤ by stitching through both loops.

Rnds 1-3, you end up with 16 stitches as you complete each round.  The ch 5 in the beginning of Rnd 3 is to be counted as a "dc + ch 2" and is the first stitch in one of your corners -- each corner has 3 dc's with a ch 2 between them (all made in one sc).  Between these corner stitches you have 1 dc with a ch 2 on each side of it.  After you complete Rnd 4, you end up with 56 sc's.
