I love to crochet,but I get so angry with myself,because nothing I make seems to turn out right. I've been crocheting since I was twelve years old. I know all the stitches,but for some reason or other it just don't look right,and I still can't follow some patterns. What am I doing wrong? Elaine

Are you near a yarn store? It might help you to go in and find someone who can look at your projects and help you figure out what you are doing wrong. Many local yarn stores have someone or know someone who crochets and would love to help you. Without seeing your projects, I'm not sure what you are doing. It might be something really simple that someone who can look at your projects can help you with.

Another suggestion is to go to your local library and see if they have any groups that meet. Ours has a group that meets once a week and people bring their various projects to work on. You may be able to get some advice from something like that.
