Hi everyone. My grandma taught me to crochet close to 40 years ago, but like most teens I did not want to be caught crocheting or any other craft. Now I am very disabled and stuck at home 24/7 so I have picked up crocheting again after 25+ years. I am loving it and it is bring back so many memories of my grandma. My first project was a scarf I gave away for Christmas. I have made several potholders and now I am working on an afghan. I am looking forward to getting to kow everyone and getting to learn many new stitches and patterns.

Welcome to the forum Jeritta!  Your crochet story is much like mine; my grandma and aunt taught me to crochet many years ago when I was a youngster. Family and career occupied much of my time and crocheting was put aside for several years.   Took it back up about 10 years ago and haven't stopped.  If I'm sitting, I'm crocheting!  Hope to see photos of some of your finished projects here.
