Just finished watching Knitting Daily TV Episode 409 Creative Scarves. The last little clip showed how to make scarves out of cutting up old clothes. I do a ton of sewing and as a result, I have a bunch of scrapes that I don't know what to do with but I don't want to throw them out either. Problem's now solved! I can't wait to grab my rotatory cutter and turn them into one-of-a-kind scarves. I don't think I have enough of any one kind of fabric to make a single scarf so I plan on mixing and matching instead! The clip also reminded me that I have an aunt that use to do the same thing but made the strips wider and crocheted baskets with them with I was younger. I wonder what else I could crochet up with them...
