I like working with skein of yarns in which one end pulls out from the middle of the skein and pulls out very easily as you crochet. But not all yarns are wound this way. And sometimes, too even if it is supposed to be a pull-out skein--you can't find the end that pulls out from the center. When you crochet with the outer end--the skein rolls all over the place as you work,

My solution for this is to put it inside a medium size grocery bag big enough for the skein to still roll around inside the bag. I tie the grocery bag handle in a way that I can untie it easily when I need to. This keeps the skein from jumping out of the bag as I pull while working; also this makes the skein stay in one place and keep it from getting soiled. If anyone has a better method please post. Thank you.
