I'm just starting on the Ring Around the Posie top from the latest issue of Interweave Crochet. Anyone else?
I've been working on Ring Around the Posie for the last couple of weeks. I've finished the panels and am now working on the panel border section. The instructions are very confusing. Have you figured out the first round instructions?
My best guess is that (for a size small) I sc 3 times in each 3-ch sp up until the joining, then dc three times at the joining. This ends up being five points along each side of the motif where crocheting takes place. Does that jive with your reading?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I haven't gotten that far... Sidetracked by some gift projects. But I looked at the directions an your interpretation seems right. There are some people who have finished it on Ravelry so you might get some help there. If you're not already a memeber you should check it ou - I'm hooked!
