Hi, y'all! This is the first thing I've attempted of this difficulty and boy-howdee. But I found this really lovely yarn from twisted sister online (an orange silk-wool blend) and wanted to do a beautiful pattern to do it justice as well.

I'm working on the second of 2 motifs I have planned. (short on yarn, so I'm making the 2 sleeves and and plan to improvise a bust/waist band.) The spirals are really pretty but the fabric is not as airy as in the picture. I haven't done the reverse stitches the designer describes as giving the "piping" effect. Has anyone out there made this pattern and maybe could offer some advice please-oh-please?

Thanks!!!

If you put "mesmerize sweater" in the search box to the right there was a previous thread on this pattern. Good luck!
