Hello!

I'm in the process of making the Cocoon Bag by Cecily Keim from the Crochet Me book, and I've just completed Row 17. However, upon counting rows, I've been adding extra stitches at the beginning of each v-stitch row. (Rows 3 & 4, etc.) I double-checked the instructions, and I seem to have followed them properly. Is it possible that there is an error in the pattern? Or is the number of stitches per row supposed to increase in the v-stitch rows?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I have found the same stitch # error for the mesmerize sweater. row 4 calls for 40 stiches but only reads for 26 stitches. How many more mistakes are in this book?

Yarnchickie what a coincidence I just started trying to make the cocoon bag as well. I seem to have got stuck on the row 5. Do you understand the 8 extended treble crochet cluster?

I have just started working on this bag, and am hoping to use it as a beach bag this weekend. But yeah that looks doubtful. I can't seem to really understand anything past the first row. The extended trebles confuse the hell out of me. And I'm not sure if the damn thing is even looking right cause I was basically getting a bunched up thing. I don't know, I think maybe a visual pattern would be helpful. I always seem to be able to follow those much better.
