Hey out there!
I am just starting some thread crochet, and having trouble with those wretched balls the thread comes in/on. The thread keeps twisting up and then I have to stop and let it unwind so that it doesn't turn into a knot. How can I avoid this? My husband bought me a great yarn ball winder for Valetine's Day, but I just don't know if it would work with thread since it is so thin and the center of the ball winder is rather large. Any suggestions?
On a totally different subject, what is a great felting project for a first-timer? I have three balls of Patons Classic Merino Wool in Dark Grey Mix, yet I have no idea what I'm-a-gonna make with it!
Any help is appreciated!

Hi. I don't have any suggestions for the thread twisting problem but the first felting project I did was a purse. Just a simple rectangle, crocheted in stripes, felted and then folded it over, sewed up the sides and added a handle. It came out cute! You could also try flowers and add them to the outside of the purse.
Good luck and have fun!
