Georgiegirl,

As I recall, http://www.happyyellowhouse.com/htm/crochet.html offers a lot of quilt patterns made up of granny squares. The small squares make a variety of both pictures and geometric patterns. You may find something there.

I'm looking for a pattern for fingerless mittens with fold-over tops, I'm not creative enough to work up my own, can anyone help? Thanks

Brooke,

Try searching http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/mittens_gloves.php

I've seen some recently, but I think they were all knitted.

Good luck.
