"Row two is chain 3, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, turn," is missing something in the instructions. It doesn't describe a whole row of stitches, so I don't know what's going wrong. I'm guessing there's a typo there. Please repost.

Thanks for answering my post!!! I will re-post tonight when I have the pattern in front of me. It's a short shell patter. You chain 3 for height and then do the shell pattern. Then turn the work. But I'll post the whole thing because I'm so confused by it.

I went back and looked at the directions. It's the center section of a scarf, so it's a really short row. In my attempts to get help, I also emailed the editors at Crochet and they said the multiple comment is to make sure the fine number of rows is divisible by three, then add two rows. Directions can be very funny to read.

But, I started a new project that has a note to work from the inside of the project (wrong side). I'm baffled again.

What sort of projects do yo like to work on. What can you recommend about this site.

I prefer short, easy projects that match my attention span, LOL.

Kim Werker wrote up an article on how to make a 3-color spiral, very cool, and I used it to make some coasters. My print says "Interweave Crochet blog, Sunday, March 23, 2008" if you wish to Google.

Then there's Eva's Shawl, either from here or from www.Crochetville.org , very simple, very effective, still a WIP after months!

From here, http://crochetme.com/patterns/mohair-handwarmers were easy to make and lovely. It's almost time to dig them out for wearing at the keyboard.
