I want to do some football related items but would like some help on crocheting a football. It seems simple enough, but I would like a pattern to get me started. I want a flat football, not to stuff or anything.
An easy way to do this would be to get out some graph paper and shade in the shape of a football using the squares. Then count each shaded square as a single crochet. Then you just increase and decrease on each row as it shows you on your graph to get the shape. Then to add detail you could cross-stitch on the seams.
