Selling my projects

Hi, guys! So I was taking a break from my project to rake the yard for a little cash and I started thinking of how it'd be nice to make a little pocket money but not have to get a steady income, being a teenager. And since my birthday is coming up soon, i might get a little more freedom with it too, meaning money will be of increasing importance, but not a priority. So I was thinking of asking my mother to see if her co-workers would be interested in a little handmade craft. I was thinking of making wristwarmers, scarves, and such. How much should i ask for them since they're not appearing from thin air? What else would people buy? I'm not so much interested in selling online, but I'd like to sell in person. My projects aren't so bad and would even be better if i could sew in the ends of yarn properly, andmaybe i would even make afghans. How much should i charge for these? In the current situation, i doubt people would like to pay much.Any opinions? Thanks for reading!

mad for crochet!

I think a good place to start is - how much did you spend for the yarn? At least double that and then add a little more for the time you spent making the item.
