I've just finished my "Shades of Plaid" scarf and it's nice and long... so long in fact that in order to block it properly, my mini-improvised-blocking board being w-a-y too short, I'll have to do one half at a time. It shouldn't make any differnce, right? I usually put my piece in tepid water and than block it, but this time I guess I'll have to spray block. I doubt that dipping half of the scarf in water is going to work well...

I'm not a blocker so far, but your half at a time plan sounds like it should work. I've also wondered if a scarf or whatever could be folded in half and the two layers blocked together.

Technically, I guess I have blocked with steam from a steam iron but never with pins.
