looking for two patterns

I'm looking for a pattern that is a baby blanket that is crochet with with two diffent yarns, its a reseveble blanket, I had done this pattern ones an now I missed placed my pattern, the other pattern that I'm looking for is of a pig, that was done to hing on xmas trees, I remember it with some other animals, and it was in a book with other winter items,

You are thinking of the reversible stitch. If you look the stitch up it will refresh your memory on how to do it. Then all you do is make your chain the length you want the blanket to be wide and then work to the desired size. The reversible stitch really is the "pattern" that you use. I would suggest making a potholder size out of old yarn for practice before starting your blanket so you are comfortable doing it.
