Does anyone have a pattern for either a 'peace sign", or maybe something like the "stealie face" from the Grateful Dead? My son and his wife are total "Dead Heads", and I would like to make either an afghan with a Grateful Dead logo, or perhaps some earrings or a pendant with a crocheted peace sign.
I found this pattern http://crochetme.com/ice-princess on this site....if only I could crochet a peace sign in place of the snowflake.
Any suggestions or advice?

How about a peace pillow done in tapestry crochet? You could draw out a peace sign on graph paper and then use tapestry crochet in the round to create a pillow. Check out Carol Ventura to see what she has done with her tapestry technique.
