OK...so I am at the easy level in crochet and really want to try my first sweater. I like patterns that have new stiches so that I can learn new ones. Does anyone have a pattern? If anyone thinks I should try a poncho first please tell me! If so...does anyone have any patterns?

BIG Thanks!

I just started trying to learn how to make sweaters and clothing items with crochet in the past month or so, and I've found that Lion Brand web-site has some nice, easy patterns for sweaters. I've made a couple of them, and the patterns are well written and easy to follow.

Thanks! But I can't get on...It involves a lot of info that I do not really want to get out...(Name, Address, Etc.) But thanks! Does anyone else have a E.A.S.Y. pattern?

I am trying my first sweater now. I am using a pattern out of the Chicks with Sticks Guide to Crochet. So far, I have messed up my stitch count a few times, but the extra practice helped me get used to the stitch. Its a super simple stitch, a cobble stitch which is just a sc and dc next to each other. I will let you know how it ends! The shaping and arms scare me a bit.
