I am so loving the tunisian stitch. I have two hooks that someone gave me, a U.S.6/4mm and a J hook. I'm having a hard time finding them in my local craft store though. The size that they do have is just the 6/4mm. The sales clerk told me that is the only size they carry because there is not a lot of people that need then at all.

I was curious, what is the shortest to the longest size that these hooks come in? Is there a site that I can order then from?

I have some afghan hooks I inherited from my husband's grandmother--some are about 9 inches long while others are about 12 inches. They are in a range of sizes. The company names stamped on them are Susan Bates and HERO. Maybe try to look for their websites.

I ordered some circular afghan hooks online, but long enough ago I forget where. They're not really circular; they just look like a one-ended circular knitting needle. They weren't very large either, just long.

hookX3,

I looked at the susan baltes site and it seems that they offer the circular ones like pauline was talking about. I haven't tried HERO yet, but will later today.

Pauline,

The circular ones that you are talking about seems that they are for the bigger projects. Like if you were going to a one piece throw. I may purchase just one to see if Ican work with them.

Thanks to both of you for responding.
