I need to change the size of a sweater pattern from 24 months down to 12 months. The pattern calls for a size K-10.5 hook. Is there a guide somewhere that tells how much the size changes when going to a smaller hook? I'll need to decrease the size by 2" I think.
I don't know if there is a guide but I would make a gauge swatch that comes out 2" smaller. It might take a little time but it will be worth it to make sure your gauge it right since it is a wearable.
