I am working on a cardigan. the foundation row is the right side. Then end on the wrong side for armholes: next row: Pat across first 4 then end with right side. I seem at that point to repeat the pattern which makes no sense to me. making the front look terrible.

Therefore which is right sideandwhich is wrong side????

The pattern is the scallop edge cardigan in the Bernnat bamboo book

Usually a designer will indicate which side is right or wrong. When I have designed things I will put in a *mark this side as right side* or something similar to that.

Having said that - I would pick the side that YOU like best.

Technically row/round 1 should be the right side but not always....

I don't have the pattern so I can't tell you for sure but somewhere in that pattern it *should* say which side is which..

Thank You.

It was the wrong side row. I hade someone read the pattern to me and that helped as well.
