Hi all...

I'm new to this site and not very experienced at crocheting. I'm trying to make my Grandson a pair of slippers. I have several patterns that don't seem too difficult but my problem is they sre for size 6 inch slipper soles. I need them to fit a size 5 inch foot. I've tried going down in hook size but it hasn't really worked. Can anyone give me a not to difficult way of reducing the size. I'd really appreciate any help you could offer.

Thanks in advance, Sandy

You could try a thinner yarn,

along with a smaller hook.

Thanks debber I'll try that. I guess it will end up being a lesson in trial and error.
