I've made a couple of different projects using a Q hook, most recently a big colorful double stranded scarf for my son. My problem is I can never weave the loose ends into the big stitches without them falling out. I made the scarf a tube, so i was hoping to just stuff the loose ends into the middle, but they won't stay there either. Do I need to resort to knotting and cutting off the ends?
I'm working with a yarn named Bigga, Biggah?, that's about the thickness of gift package tying yarn except it may be thicker. Well, I was curious. I haven't tried this yet, but I've been thinking of weaving them in a bit and then stitching down the tails with matching sewing thread or maybe with embroidery thread.
anoramaxsis I have on the one large sized project that I did was weave the ends in then knot and fasten off.
