I feel silly asking but I need to know. when crocheting using two threads I only have one skein of one color, how do I get the two threads out of one skein without having to take apart the skein? Is there a trick? I know this is silly.

This is what i did. Just wind the skein into two balls of roughly the same size. ~Brandi

Another method is to pull one thread from the center of the skein and the other thread from the outside. You may get a little more twisting than with Brandi's method.

Thanks so much Brandi and Pauline. I felt silly asking such an easy question but it did have me baffled, not anymore thanks to your answers.
