hope someone can give me some tips

i am making a pineapple shawl the pattern is a doily i am doing in yarn and i want to add more pineapples instead of one pineapple in each round i want to do one alternately between the first set ,i have already finished the first ones and started on the next set but the shawl is starting to cup

how do increase enough to keep it flat ? do i make bigger pineapples thte first ones were 16 dc in ch should i make these ones 18 or twenty i hope this makes sense to some one

Hi Goldie, It is hard to tell without a photo, but could you add more chains in the pineapple designs to open it up?
