Based on this, I'm assuming my first interpretation was right.
I've been crocheting for a while, but I've only worked from a pattern once before. I think I'm misunderstanding some instructions, though.
If it says "3 sc in next sc," does it mean "ch 2 and then sc in next place to put one" or "sc in this place, 3 times"? The former makes more sense to me, but I'm not sure.. and I don't want to find out after doing 10 or so rows that I did it wrong on this afghan.
