Greetings, My mother crocheted the above in memory of her grandson who died of leukemia. It framed beautifully and hangs in the church he attended. It is a large piece - approximately 30x36 unframed. The pastor of this church recently asked her to do a companion piece which leads to my question - have any of you seen similar patterns, perhaps the crucifixtion, Christ in the garden of Gethsemane, etc. Mom and I would sure appreciate any help/tips you can provide which would help us locate such a pattern. Thanks much!

I have a filet crochet pattern for Michaelangelo's Pieta-- Christ being held in his mother's lap after the crucifixion. It was made by a company called Yesterdazes. It has several examples of other religious themed filet patterns on the back cover of this one too. It has listed a website www.yesterdazes.com

Just visited the site and found some exactly what you are asking about in the crochet filet wall art section of their products.
