I am lokking for a type of crochect where u make a chain though a hole in a wooden block with nails around the hole. I used to do it as a kid and i want to know how to do it again.
Your description sounds more like a knitting spool than anything I've come across in crochet. You can find knitting spools in most craft stores--JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels I know all have them.
Hi, here is a link that might help you with what you are searching for. They are called several things and are made out of different materials. We always made ours out of wooden sewing spools, but Ssan Bates sells one with a needle for $2.95. Good luck
