I got stuck at " 2. 10 sc" ; please help!

excuse my n00bness, but I'm new to crocheting and am following this http://salihan.com/flower-fridgies/ pattern.

I got stuck at "chain 2. 10 sc" lawl! :D


what does it mean, the " 2. 10 sc" I mean? I just can't see what the 2 has to do with it?

Hi,


The 2 chains are the foundation of the motif. You will make 2 chains loosely (especially the first chain, because this is where you will make the 10 sc. this will form into a ring.

The next set of instructions seem to be clear since she included photo diagram. The flower motif is done in a spiral technique.

The . is a period. Basically this is 2 separate instructions. Chain 2. THEN make 10 single crochets.


I know patterns can be SOOO hard to read sometimes. It looks like another language. Heh.
